RARE Original 1985 QUIEX TRANSLUCENT VIRGIN VINYL AUDIOPHILE RCA RECORD CLUB pressing. What is Quiex? In the 1980s when Vinyl was still the primary choice at radio, record labels tried to usurp CD usage by supplying stations with Audiophile quality Virgin Vinyl pressing, what became known as Quiex (as in quieter sounding). MOST Quiex lps were promos, but in rare cases, were released in stores and rarer still, like this copy, released by Record Clubs (R163233). Sound Quality: AMAZING! Vinyl is excellent. Labels are excellent. Cover is excellent, but has touch of cornerwear upper right just holding grade down. Inner is nice with small edge split on one side. Features Neil Young and Willie Nelson on "Are There Any More Real Cowboys?" Other Songs: Wayward Wind, Get Back to the Country, California Sunset, Bound for Glory and more.
