ULTRA RARE 1ST ISSUE--ORIGINAL 1979 RELEASE with WARNING STICKER ON COVER, STERLING in dead wax and NO MENTION OF TRAIN IN VAIN, the final track on the album. Awesome condition!
The Clash were at the forefront of punk, blending rock, soul and reggae with a socially conscious intensity. This is their masterpiece from 1979. AGAIN, This is an original pressing--Train in Vain is NOT listed on cover or labels, but closes out the album (later pressings listed the song).
Vinyl has a few faint surface marks on sides 1-3, and just a few more on side 4 for a mixed graded totaling VG++ (The breakdown: NM-/NM-/NM-/VG++). STERLING stamped in dead wax.
Cover has hint of cornerwear holding grade down; has rare sticker reading: "This album includes lyric content which may be offensive to some members of the public."
