From the back of the jacket: ABOUT BOLES HOME . . .Churches of Christ give full-time care to 275 boys and girls at Boles Home, a major child caring institution of the nation, located on the beautiful rural campus near Quinlan, 45 miles east of Dallas, and in the Foster Home unit at Stephenville, Texas. Young people from many states of the nation and foreign countries make up the student body. Boles Home schools offer 12 grades, including extensive vocational courses, and are directed by the Texas Education Agency.
Training is offered in colleges and vocational schools beyond life at the Home according to tested aptitudes and abilities. Boles Home is licensed by the State Department of Public Welfare and is chartered as a non-profit charitable and educational institution by the State. It is supported by gifts, bequests and donations of individuals and by contributions of the churches of Christ. Services include full-time residential care, vocational training, maintenance and re-establishment of family relationships and life, care of mothers with their children, and ministry to bijdents with behavioral problems.
Twenty-one major buildings and twenty-one residences for staff make up the physical plant of Boles Home. Admittances, including teenage students, are determined by the student's need of services and by the ability of the Home to meet the need.
THE SINGERS: The Bel Canto Singers have been featured under the auspices of the churches of Christ in practically every major city in America, and in hundreds of others. Side One of this album is directed by Lowell Brown. Side Two is directed by Dan Parkerson, the present director of the distinguished Bel Canto Singers.
