The Beatles London Wavelength the Beatles Story T-shirt
INCREDIBLY RARE 1980s VINTAGE LONDON WAVELENGTH: THE BEATLES STORY T-SHIRT. Color: WHITE with red cuffing around sleeves and neck. Size: Small (a large small, I'd say). 100% cotton, Plymouth Mills brand. Condition: Excellent overall. A spot or two of dirt from prolonged storage (could use a wash, I suppose), and some light color bleed of the red cuffing, but no rips, holes, stains, etc... THE BACKSTORY: The Beatles Story aired on (British Broadcasting Company) BBC Radio One, May through August 1972. It was a 13-part, 55 minutes each, radio documentary of authentic music and first-hand interviews covering the entire history of The Beatles from their individual beginnings to the breakup of the band. The BBC made complete use of their own archive of audio interviews and music. Later, this was recommissioned as The Beatles Story / The Authentic B.B.C. Production from London Wavelength in 1980. That is where this undated, but clearly vintage T-shirt comes from.
