The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. But if too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! A 1987 Commemorative Release with UNHUNG POSTER. 2-LP set pressed on translucent black QUIEX virgin vinyl. Record 1 has a couple very light surface sleeve scuffs just holding grade back, nothing I can feel. Record 2 is excellent all around. Labels are excellent. Original inner sleeves have handling wear and splitting in the center of bottom edges. Poster is clean and unhung with light handling wear. No tape, pin holes, rips, tears, etc. "Elvis Talks!" special offer order form insert has handling wear and a "coffee" stain lower right corner and right edge. Cover in original shrink-wrap with gold HYPE STICKER upper right corner has cornerwear and light edgewear along open edge. Small price sticker upper left corner on shrink.
