Beatles A Hard Day's Night (1987, Mono, Rainbow Lbl, Shrink, Hype)
1987 release, part of Capitol’s series of issuing their earlier UK album catalog for the first time in the US (outside the Mo-Fi limited editions), matching their CD counterparts (and using the same catalog numbers). Digital masters were used in these pressings. Pressed at Allied Record Co as identified by what looks like a large Q (but is really a lower case a with a tail) stamp in the run out. Still in original SHRINK-WRAP with a 2” round red HYPE sticker stating “DIGITALLY REMASTERED FROM THE ORIGINAL BRITISH CATALOG." Mastered by Wally Traugott, "Wally" etched in dead wax.
Vinyl has a few very light surface sleeve scuffs/hazing just holding grade back from NM, nothing I can feel. Labels have light spindle marks. Original rice paper inner sleeve has handling wear. Cover in original shrink-wrap with hype sticker has cornerwear, light edgewear on right side, a large hole-punch upper right corner, orange sticker upper right corner on shrink, and shrink torn upper right edge.
