Negativland U2
SUPER RARE ORIGINAL 1991 LP, STILL SEALED AND EXCELLENT ALL AROUND!
Backstory: This "Expiermental Sound Collage" EP featuring voices and music from U2 as well as "unfavorable comments" from American Top 40 DJ Kasey Kasem, was canceled by SST with all remaining copies ceased and destroyed soon after the initial release, when Island Records sued Negativland and SST Records for copyright infringement and violating trademark law by using the name U2 without permission. Label claimed that the band deliberately confused U2 fans, who were buying "next U2 album called Negativland", released just at the time they were expecting new LP, "Achtung Baby." In total 1600 Lps were released, plus approximately 650 promos.
