If you’re not familiar with Quiex, it's like this: As CDs began coming on the scene in the 1980s, record companies started pressing Quiex II lps for primarily for radio stations. The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. But if too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! This translucent brown Audiophile beauty IS one of those pressings.

Dr. Know Plug-In Jesus (1st Press, Quiex, Insert)
Original 1984 FIRST pressing of Dr. Know's debut Mini LP on Ghetto-Way Records. Cover sleeve is in color. Later reissues on Mystic are black and white. Track B4, "Fist Fun" is not listed on the sleeve but appears on the album and label. Translucent QUIEX virgin vinyl has a few light surface sleeve scuffs/hazing holding grade down, nothing I can feel though. Labels have light wear. Original double-sided printed lyric insert has handling wear, cornerwear, and a couple small brown/yellow-ish stains on catalog side. Cover has cornerwear, edgewear, faint ringwear, spidering around the edges, and a ding/crease upper right corner.
