The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. But if too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! Carpenters Yesterday Once More (RCA Club, Quiex 2LP)
Original 1985 CLUB issue with "RCA Music Service under License" on labels and back cover. Pressed on translucent QUIEX VIRGIN VINYL, AUDIOPHILE quality! This pressing also has a mistake, the back cover is printed upside-down.
Vinyl (2) is NM with a couple super light surface sleeve scuffs/hazing, nothing I can feel. Labels are excellent. Gatefold cover with UPSIDE-DOWN BACK COVER has cornerwear, light edgewear, ringwear/hazing, and light spidering around the edges.
