The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. But if too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! 1982 Chess International "Blues Roots Volume 14" German compilation. Pressed on translucent QUIEX VIRGIN VINYL.
Vinyl has a slight warp that does not affect play. Vinyl has a few very faint paper sleeve scuffs, a hairline scratch through A1 "I Had A Dream", and a slight warp that does not affect play just barely holding grade back from NM-. Labels are excellent. Embossed cover has moisture damage with ripping and wrinkling, cornerwear/edgewear, spidering around the edges, and faint ringwear.
