The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded just as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. If too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! Original 1986 2xLP pressed on translucent (when held to light) QUIEX AUDIOPHILE vinyl complete with fold-out INSERT SHEET. Lacquer cut by Bob Ludwig ("RL" in dead wax run-outs).
Vinyl (2) has a few very faint paper sleeve scuffs just holding grade back from NM, nothing I can feel. Labels are excellent. Fold-out insert sheet is excellent with a hint of handling wear and two faint creases at the top of the back when folded. Cover has a touch of cornerwear/edgewear, light dings at bottom left and top right corners, a touch of spidering/creasing around the edges, a ding crease near the center of left side edge of back cover, and a hint of faint ringwear.
