TLC Silly Ho (Test Pressing)
This is a RARE, UNKNOWN AND UNUSUAL TEST PRESSING found in a bin of old radio promos and castoffs. Features 4 artists, with TLC the number one artist here. LOOK at the sticker on the label! -----HO---- then a list of the other artists.
The dead wax matrix is HO-001-A; HO-001-B.
Silly HO was released in 1998, so this likely earlier (maybe unknown versions?--I don't know the song well enough). I've checked period soundtracks to see if this test pressing maybe comes from a soundtrack: NO LUCK.
Music: There are two versions of Silly Ho, a long and short version starting off the A-side. Then RUN DMC "The Beginning" followed by A Tribe Called Qwest "Like It Like Dat" and finishing with Ricky Bell's "When Will I See U.
Side B has SIX (6) killer instrumental tracks that range from hard bass to silky hip-hop to techno-edge rhythms. ALL SOLID TRACKS. Great for sampling or toasting over.
Can't tell you more, but it's a unique piece and I can find NO information about it anywhere!
