Doors L.A. Woman (1st Press, Inner, Santa Maria)

RARE 1971 Elektra SANTA MARIA pressing with rounded corners and embossed "Doors" text on the front cover. Front cover has a cut-out window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. Includes the original Yellow inner sleeve with rounded corners, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. Back of the inner sleeve has a black-print crucifix image.
Of note: 1. This issue has the "15 Columbus Circle" address on back cover and the labels. 2. This issue does not have the Warner Bros "W" logo on the "butterfly" labels. 3. This is a SANTA MARIA Pressing Plant pressing with "CSM" in dead wax run-outs. 4. Artisan Sound Recorders (mastering) logo stamped in dead wax run-outs.
Vinyl has some light surface sleeve marks holding grade back. Plays strong with occasional faint background noise only in the very quiets spots (like between some songs).
Original yellow inner sleeve with rounded corners is excellent overall, though there is writing on the all-yellow side. It does not appear in the cellophane when inside the jacket.
Embossed burgundy cover with cellophane window, rounded corners and acetate band image has heavy edgewear around window and less on outer edges, ringwear/hazing.
Labels are excellent.
