Original 1984 pressing on TRANSLUCENT (when held to light) QUIEX AUDIOPHILE VINYL complete with cover still in the SHRINK-WRAP with HYPE STICKER! 'MR' etching in the dead wax run-outs denotes a Monarch Record Mfg. Co. pressing.
Vinyl has a few very faint paper sleeve scuffs/hazing just barely holding grade back from NM, nothing I can feel. Side 1 labels has a hint of wear at the spindle hole and side 2 label has a couple faint spindle marks. Cover has the original shrink-wrap meticulously taped along the right side edge inside the cover and a touch of wear at the spine edge corners just holding cover grade back from NM. Bottom left corner just poking through shrink-wrap.
If you’re not familiar with QUIEX, it's like this: As CDs began coming on the scene in the 1980’s, record companies started pressing “Quiex II” LPs primarily for radio stations. The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded just as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. If too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! This translucent (when held to light) AUDIOPHILE beauty is one of those pressings!
