Vinyl has numerous very faint surface sleeve scuffs/scratches just holding grade back from NM-, nothing that can be felt or heard. Vinyl is flat and plays through excellent with no skips, pops, etc. Labels have a couple light spindle marks, light fading/scuffing, white-out marks on both sides and a name written in pen at the top of side 2. Cover has cornerwear/edgewear, the right-half of the top edge is split, a small seam split at the left side of top edge/top left corner, a small blow-out/split middle of bottom edge, lightly bumped bottom corners, a tiny ding/rip just above the center of the spine edge and light ringwear/hazing mostly on the front cover.

Original 1964 STEREO pressing on black rainbow-band labels without "subsidiary" rim text. This label variation credits BMI for the first two songs on side 1 and the fifth song on side 2, all other songs are credited to ASCAP. "Beatles" on the front cover is olive green and the picture on the front cover is tinted blue. "Stereo" in compressed font on the labels. Side number as '1' (not 'I' as for Scranton releases). No George Martin producer credit at the bottom left edge of the back cover. RIAA seal with '6' bottom right corner of back cover (Imperial Packing Co., Inc. Indianapolis, Indiana) for most Capitol Los Angeles releases. Does not include the original pale-blue Capitol inner sleeve.
