Doors L.A. Woman (1st Press, Inner, CTH)

RARE true 1971 Elektra FIRST pressing with rounded corners and embossed "Doors" text on the front cover. Front cover has a cut-out window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. Includes the original Yellow inner sleeve with rounded corners, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. Back of the inner sleeve has a black-print crucifix image.
Of note: 1. This issue has the "15 Columbus Circle" address on back cover and the labels. 2. This issue does not have the Warner Bros "W" logo on the "butterfly" labels. 3. This is a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute pressing with "CTH" and "T" in dead wax run-outs. 4. Artisan Sound Recorders logo stamped in dead wax run-outs. 5. Song B3 is credited to Modern Music, later properly credited to John Lee Hooker, Arc Music.
Vinyl has some light surface sleeve marks holding grade back. Plays strong with occasional faint background noise only in the very quiets spots (like between some songs).
Original yellow inner sleeve with rounded corners is excellent.
Embossed burgundy cover with cellophane window, rounded corners and acetate band image has the light edgewear around the corners, faint ringwear, tiny tear spot on back lower right.
