Neil Young Reactor (Quiex, Inner)
Neil with Crazy Horse. RARE TRANSLUCENT QUIEX AUDIOPHILE VIRGIN VINYL PRESSING mastered at Sheffield Lab Matrix (SLM in run-outs) for optimal sound. Vinyl has a few light surface sleeve scuffs/hazing holding grade back, nothing I can feel though. Labels are excellent. Printed lyric inner sleeve has cornerwear, edgewear, splitting at center of bottom and side edge seams, and a rip near center of top edge. Cover has very heavy cornerwear, heavy edgewear, heavy ringwear/hazing, spidering around the edges, and a ding/rip lower left edge of back cover.

If you’re not familiar with QUIEX, it's like this: As CDs began coming on the scene in the 1980’s, record companies started pressing “Quiex II” LPs primarily for radio stations. The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded just as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. If too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! This translucent (when held to light) AUDIOPHILE beauty is one of those pressings!
