Velvet Underground White Light, White Heat
RARE ORIGINAL 1968 WEST COAST DEEP GROOVE pressing with 1st print only Skull Cover. This pressing includes unique variations: Sister Ray song credit shows L.Reed rather than Lou Reed. Three Prong Music" publishing credit appears on ALL tracks. Tracklisting on back mis-titles Here She Comes Now as THERE She Comes Now. Back cover credits Lou Reed for Lead Guitar rather than just Guitar. Andy Warhol is credited on back cover. Spine reads V6-5046 WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT THE VELVET UNDERGROUND VERVE. Matrix shows Side 1 and Side 2 rather than Side A and Side B, as most do.
Vinyl has a few light surface scuffs, nothing I can feel, holding grade down. Plays well with a touch of background noise every so often, but not very often. Mostly, the music comes through loud and clear. Cover with SKULL clearly visible in lower left corner has light ringwear/hazing (mostly on top), edge and cornerwear. Deep Groove labels are nice, with some light spindle marks. Has original Verve inner sleeve in nice shape.
